1. Data controller
Dice Continental Ltd, trading through Rhigi, is the data controller for personal data processed through rhigi.com, except where a third party independently determines how it processes data.
2. Personal data we collect
- Identity and contact data, such as name, phone number, email and delivery address.
- Account, order, wallet, voucher, reward and support records.
- Payment references and transaction status. Rhigi does not intentionally store complete card details where payment is handled by an external payment provider.
- Device, browser, IP address, cookie, security and usage information.
- Communications, reviews, support tickets and preferences.
- Birthday information where voluntarily supplied for birthday rewards.
3. Why we process data
We process data to create and manage accounts, fulfil orders, arrange delivery, process payments and refunds, provide support, prevent fraud, maintain security, administer rewards, comply with legal obligations, improve the service and send marketing where permitted.
4. Lawful bases
Depending on the activity, processing is based on performance of a contract, steps requested before a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests that do not override customer rights, consent, or another lawful basis recognised by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
5. Marketing and AI features
Marketing communications may be sent where consent or another lawful basis applies. You may unsubscribe at any time. Rhigi may use automated tools, including the Rhigi AI Negotiator, to produce offers or personalise shopping. Where automated processing produces a legal or similarly significant effect, applicable rights to human review, explanation or challenge will be respected.
6. Sharing
We may share necessary data with payment providers, logistics companies, hosting and cloud providers, communications platforms, professional advisers, fraud-prevention services, regulators and authorities. Providers receive only data reasonably required for their function and are expected to apply appropriate safeguards.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside Nigeria. Where this occurs, Rhigi will use a lawful transfer basis and reasonable contractual, organisational or technical safeguards.
8. Retention
We retain data only as long as reasonably necessary for orders, warranties, support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, disputes and legal compliance. Retention periods vary by record type. Data may be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required and no lawful basis for retention remains.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet system is completely secure, so customers should use strong passwords and protect their devices.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent and information about processing. You may object at any time to direct marketing. Requests should be sent to help@rhigi.com. We may verify identity before acting.
11. Cookies
Cookies and similar technologies may be used for authentication, carts, security, preferences, analytics and marketing. Browser settings can restrict cookies, but essential website functions may then be unavailable.
12. Complaints
Please contact us first so we can investigate. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
13. Children
Rhigi is not designed for children to create accounts or make purchases without appropriate parental or guardian involvement. Where consent is relied on for a child, applicable verification requirements will be observed.
